It comes from the term sati which translates to mindfulness and breathing life into the practice. This meditation is done by sitting with closed eyes, the back straight, closed legs, and attention placed on breathing. It’s a very effective mental and spiritual practice, and it works best by letting the mind wander, accepting any thought and understanding the present.
