10 Ways to Identify Your Feeling Nature to Live an Illuminated Life

10 Ways to Identify Your Feeling Nature to Live an Illuminated Life

By Kristy Kaye

Identify your feeling nature to live an illuminated life with this meditation technique:-

  1. If you close your eyes, there is darkness. Do you sense that into this darkness, there is nothing?

  1. Take your time to keep your eyes closed and maybe put earplugs in your ears to drown out the sounds of your surroundings.

  1. Into this space, if you are alone, there are only your feelings, your Guidance, your intellect, and confused souls.

  1. The first thing usually that comes into our mind is not necessarily Spirit or our feelings. It is usually intellectual thoughts. This is where confused souls harass us in these thoughts, and now we can familiarise ourselves with this invasion.

  1. When we can distance ourselves from their influence and persevere in the darkness, we may slowly become aware of our feelings. We can ask ourselves, “What am I feeling?”

  1. You may become preoccupied with intellectual ideas of feelings at first, being cold or hot, impatient, frustrated, or anxious. If you retain patience beyond these initial influences, your intellect may become bored with the exercise, and slowly your feelings can begin to communicate with you.

  1. Because it may be a new idea, you may think you can’t do it, but the truth is if you are unable to, it is because you have taught yourself not to; it is a natural response like thinking.

  1. Consequently, you (need to) give direction to any voices that say you can’t do it, using your inner authority.

  1. Since there is nothing we can’t do, if you find yourself saying you ‘can’t do it, delve deeper. Is the hidden message “I don’t want to”? Reveal what is really behind the resistance and make a clear and conscious choice to do it, or not to do it.

  1. Never compete or compare in this because it may take time to touch our feelings in a meaningful way. Humility and patience are where the power always lies.

The above technique is from the profound and revolutionary book ‘The Constitution of Our Soul’ by spiritual mentor and author Kristy Kaye, which unfolds and clarifies our two natures. One we think with (our intellect) and one we feel with (our feelings – not emotions). She quotes:-

“If the revelations about our soul constitution sound unconventional, it is because the language is uncommon in our everyday life. It is challenging to explain a reality reaching beyond this physical plane in its derivation and for which we have somehow as a human race become generally oblivious to. But believe me, one masters it very quickly with desire because it is natural, after all. We have two natures, one we feel with and one we think with, and they could not be more diametrically opposed because of our conditioning, yet both are intrinsically part of us. If we divorce one, it is like saying our personality does not belong to us or to disengage with the other; we are not ourselves.”

We need both our feeling nature (feelings – not emotions) and our thinking nature (intellect) to survive and thrive on Planet Earth. The difference is that one disappears when you pass on, and the other timelessly endures as our soul’s consciousness. Your feeling nature transcends the physical attributes of yourself and is outside of the five physical senses that you know. It is the part of us that is limitless, boundless and immortal – here for all eternity. It can tune into all-time dimensions – the one we are living now, the past and the immediate future. It is where our inner truth lives, and it is how we communicate with the universe. As we develop our spiritual refinement, our energy becomes even more defined than this.

Our emotions could be described as feelings of the intellect. Emotions like excited, sad, regretful, frustrated. They are not truly representative of our feelings which are vast and invincible like the ocean. Each lifetime's part of our journey is healing and taming these emotions to live our omnipotent, magnanimous, limitless feeling nature.

Each day we receive multiple messages from our intellect and its doctrines versus spontaneous impressions from our feelings and guided insights from Spirit (universal intelligence). There is joy, inspiration, and wisdom with spontaneity and profound awareness we will miss out on if we are not cognisant of our feelings.

It can be a deciding moment for us to discover our feelings are a reflection of our refinement. Their evolution is very layered and profound, like an immense body of water with endless opportunities for discovery.

As we tune in to how we feel, our soul communicating with us, and discovering our true feelings, we receive the amazing gifts of insights, tranquillity, harmony, inner serenity and much more!

We can use our feeling nature to guide us, heal us, travel through time, show us how to love ourselves, gather information for us, reveal the depth of ourselves, read energy, communicate to others without words and transcend geographical boundaries. It is, of course, unlimited.

Enjoy the adventurous exploration into the depths of you – into your soul and beyond!
